What gear were you using? This sounds a whole lot better than so many other similar videos, with the image quality to boot!
I can't wait for it to warm up so I can go to my first C&C event this year

Sony A58 with 18-55. Tripod and slider as well. A lot of scenes I wasn't using the tripod because it's hard to position close enough to the road.

Which slider do you have? I have a Rhino Slider Pro, and it barely fits in the car. Luckily, it fits in the trunk of the car I take to shows. Just barely.
I have a full audio setup with my 7D because it's audio is pretty bad by itself, and I'm a broadcasting student, so I need it to be really good for school projects.
I would suggest getting a cheap monopod, it makes it really easy to keep steady, especially when you're doing panning like that. Could be helpful! I picked up a Manfrotto one from Target for under $50, and it's a great one. Canon has a really good Monopod too, I don't remember which model, but I picked one up for my dad, and he doesn't complain about it (which means I guess he likes it).

I use a custom slider made from a metal piece and a ball bearing slider. It's mounted via a normal mount from the camera to the slider and the slider to the tripod.

Color me jealous! That's pretty sweet looking. Makes me wish my rig was light enough to be safe on that.

This was way too short. If only people could take notes from your video skills.
